Alliancing & Partnering Facilitation for Collaborative Advantage Scotland & UK

Facilitating the process of achieving entitlement from collaboration within alliance and partnering arrangements

"The loftier the building the deeper the foundation must be."
Thomas ã Kempis

The Alliance, Partnering and Team Focused models have now become accepted contexts against which to gain advantage in larger projects. This includes the development of the contract documentation and the management of vagary and economic risk.

Contemporary models - beyond conventional contracting - if properly applied provide the backdrop against which behaviours, attitudes and interactions favourable to project delivery can be exhibited.

Alliancing is not the answer to all projects, but in the right circumstances, it provides an effective alternative to the conventional contract model. Many Alliances are however Alliance in name rather than nature. The stakeholders fail to truly understand the concept, appropriate leadership is lacking or predominant cultures of the participating parties prevail contrary to Alliance principle.

It is through the holistic development of both the business and people aspects of Alliances, Partnering Agreements or similar, that the true entitlement of the project vehicle is realised.

TBL has established a reputation for effective facilitation of Alliance and Partner based projects. We have been invited to participate in a number of the better known major engineering undertakings as well as numerous small projects. Through consultancy, workshops and coaching, TBL helps clients realise their entitlement of business performance.

Our effective participation in a wide range of projects has led to the writing and delivery of papers at a number of International conferences.
