Emotional Intelligence and Influence

IQ gets you the job, EQ gets you promoted! Great leaders display high levels of emotional intelligence yet many managers don't even know what it is. Great leaders can read and regulate their own moods, emotions and behaviours and work in a synchronised way with those of others. We identify how participants can improve themselves in all three areas.

This session also looks at the key part influence plays in leadership. We explore the 9 ways in which people influence others, the pros and cons of these approaches and the preferred style of participants. The session goes on to define and practice other influencing techniques not currently used. Such is the importance of EQ that many modern school curriculum's embrace it as a life skill.
